STS member Eric Lambright, MD, Surgical Director of Lung Transplant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Chief of Thoracic Surgery at the Nashville Veterans Affairs Medical Center, says that although new treatments are being developed for lung cancer, “Surgery trends to be one of the tools necessary to solve the problem.”   Dr. Lambright also discusses advancements in lung cancer surgery and clinical trials.
